"I decided at the last minute to rent a U-Haul for my move rather than go with an expensive moving company. (saved over $1,000. This was for a small move across town - I can't imagine how much someone would save for a larger move.)
The two guys showed up on time (one was even there early, so be prepared for that), and in short order, they walked through the house, devised a plan, and started carrying items out. We hired them for 4 hours total to load and unload, which included drive time. They were courteous, helped problem solve some tricky logistics like an immovable dog gate that required them to lift a heavy dresser practically over their heads, and were totally comfortable with us 'helping' here and there."
